As a complement to Erica Synths' kick drum and hi-hat kits, this 10 HP Eurorack module is designed to deliver the attention-getting, groove-holding, and dancefloor-conducting impact of a solid snare.
Under the name mki x es.EDU, Erica Synths and Moritz Klein created this and other educational DIY kits to teach those with no synth-building experience how to make their own instruments. The manual is a painstaking, step-by-step guide, not only on how to build the module, but also on the fundamentals of electrical knowledge that makes music synthesis (and many other electronic processes) possible.
