The Erica Synths Gesture Controller Voice Card expands the abilities of the bullfrog with Theremin-like motion control, independent pitch quantizing, and more. The voice card features highly accurate vertical and horizontal sensors with individual CV outputs, for creative patching on the Bullfrog or for use with your external modular system.
The card features a built-in pitch quantizer that can be turned on/off as needed, an adjustable pitch range for the sensors, and a toggle switch for additional internal connection. The card has separate outputs for Pitch CV and VCA/VCF CV from the sensors that can be patched elsewhere. Erica Synths used optical time-to-flight sensors—a laser emitter and receiver system that ensures precise linear control of parameters. The response of both sensors can be continuous or quantized in semitones, while the pitch range can be set to 1, 3, or 5 octaves, with a simple switch flip.
