Daisy-Chain Expansion
Multiple D9-320 hard drive enclosures can be daisy-chained via a high-speed 10 Gb/s USB host expansion port located in the rear of the device for further capacity expansion.
Power Management
Nine independent drive power switches and a master power switch allow users to individually power down unused drives, saving energy and significantly extending the lifespan of the hard drives. The D9-320 also automatically ejects drives safely from the computer during the process of turning off the hard drive power. This ensures drive heads are parked properly before cutting power, eliminating the risk of head damage from sudden power loss during high-speed operation.
Power-On Recover Function
The device is equipped with a power-on recovery memory function. After normal shutdown, the device remains off upon power restoration. After abnormal power loss, it automatically restarts when power resumes, enabling automated unattended management with servers, NAS, and other devices.
Energy-Efficient Drive Sleep Mode
The D9-320 automatically enters sleep mode when the computer system goes into standby, reducing drive operating time, minimizing motor wear, and extending drive lifespan, ensuring reliable protection for your storage assets.
Smart Cooling
Equipped with an intelligent temperature-controlled fan system, the D9-320 delivers efficient cooling while maintaining ultra-quiet operation, extending the lifespan of both the device and the hard drives. Four internal temperature sensors maintain optimal drive temperatures through precise thermal monitoring and adaptive fan speed adjustment.
Durable Metal Chassis
Constructed with a robust unibody metal design, it guarantees long-term stability and reliability, perfectly suited for high-intensity operational environments.
TPC Backupper Windows PC
Make scheduled backups of your data with the user-friendly TPC Backupper software. After connecting your device to your computer and installing the client, you can set up tasks to back up folders and disk partitions from your compatible Windows PC to TerraMaster USB devices or NAS storage servers. Compatible with Windows 8, 8.1, 10, and 11 systems, this software supports incremental and differential backup strategies, providing reliable protection to your data.

TerraMaster D9-320 Reviews

Rock Solid

Have been playing with various NAS lately, and so far this is the keeper. It cannot perform like high end expensive enclosures, but I've seen 6-700MBs with a couple SSDs in slots 1-2 RAID 0. I purchased this due to my overall disappointment with other enclosures. Overall the price of higher end units vs MB/s seems a little outrageous right now especially adding in the SSD's required to acheive that speed, So I said keep it simple this time and just get a place to store the drives. All drives I have installed work at least at their manufacturers speed. And RAID 0 slots 1-2 get me over 600.
