Unlike a regular TV, the Shade is designed specifically for outdoor use. It is both water and dust resistant and supports temperatures from -22 to 122°F, so it's ready for all-weather and all-season conditions. Made for use in shaded areas, the 500 nits of brightness showcases the display's brilliant 4K60 HDR resolution that's enhanced by a full Mini-LED array with local dimming zones. This equates to rich contrast, accurate color representation, and an immersive experience. Multiple Streaming Options
Connect the Shade to your home network wirelessly via dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) support or wired through the RJ-45 port. Once online, you can access the Google Play Store through the Shade's on-screen menu, where you can download an array of popular streaming apps. If there's something you want to share from a mobile phone or tablet, stream it to the TV using Bluetooth. With four HDMI ports, a coax connection, and an RCA port, you can also connect physical sources, such as a set-top cable/satellite box, Blu-ray player, or gaming console.
All-Weather Design
In addition to the Shade TV being resistant to water and dust, it supports operating in the bitter cold down to -22°F and the blistering heat up to 122°F. During the hotter months, DC-driven exhaust fans work to keep the TV within its normal operating temperature range. Cable connections have also been addressed, with a sealed cable entry to prevent water and debris from getting inside. An all-weather remote completes the experience and can even be left outside with the TV.
