Focusrite Vocaster One Reviews
Great USB Interface
Great Interface. I primarily use mine to power my studio monitors/headphones and power my XLR desk microphone. After a bit of troubleshooting, I've got it dialed in and working great. My only critiques are: 1 - I wish it had physical dials or a physical switch to toggle between output sources. The only way to toggle your headphone or monitor/speaker outputs on and off is through the Vocaster Hub app. I don't love having to keep the app open just for this one lacking feature. 2 - I was expecting it to be a bit smaller in size. 3 - Since I'm mostly using this for meetings and programs like Discord, and not using this to stream, it took a while to figure out how to only broadcast the "host" microphone as a clean source and not the "show mix" that was set by default. The default setting was causing it to be very distorted when I tried to turn up the microphone. 4 - As of May 26, the latest Vocaster Hub version (1.6) is complete trash and unresponsive on my PC. Had to go back to the 1.3 version to get it work.
Easy to use.
This audio interface is so intuitive. I dont have any complains. it works well with an sm7b with no pre-amp needed.
