Capture, detect, and extract the license plate information of moving vehicles day and night with the MEGApix DWC-XSBA05LiP 5MP Outdoor Network ALPR Bullet Camera from Digital Watchdog. This unit captures license plates of vehicles traveling at up to 75 mph from a distance up to 165' away. It features a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor to capture 2592 x 1944 resolution video at 30 fps. Smart IR provides up to 130' of night vision. The camera's 6-50mm motorized varifocal lens delivers a 40.8 to 6.9° horizontal angle of view. Two-way audio is possible thanks to an audio input and output. An onboard memory card slot supports microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards (available separately). Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable.

ONVIF compliance enables interoperability with a wide range of surveillance devices. The camera is housed in an IP67- and IK10-rated aluminum enclosure that is suitable for safe outdoor use in areas at risk of vandalism.
