The mic supports the 1.9 GHz DECT standard with 256-bit AES encryption, providing safe and secure transmission at a range up to 164'. The slim gooseneck allows the speaker to position the mic for optimal sound pickup, and the longer 12" length on this model conveniently clears most laptop screens, allowing for better sound pickup when computers are on the table. The cardioid polar pattern provides a 90° angle of acceptance, focusing audio capture on the speaker for less unwanted background sound.
