This Cambo ACTAR-138 pairs the Rodenstock 138mm HR Digaron-SW Float lens and an ACTUS lens plate with an X-shutter for use with Phase One's Infinity Platform. An exceptionally sharp, long focal length lens, the 138mm HR features floating elements which keep optimal performance at any working distance. It has been engineered to have the highest possible resolving power, very close to the diffraction limit. This is not only achieved across the entire field of the largest digital sensors but also to the edge of the large 110mm image circle, to allow for lens shifts and tilts. These qualities allow the lens to control geometric distortion below 1% at all times, and chromatic aberration is completely suppressed.
The ACTAR-138 is suitable for Phase One IQ4 digital camera backs with large sensors up to 36x56mm and 40x54mm. It provides ample clearance for parallel shifts to correct the perspective or for swing and tilt according to the Scheimpflug rule - the very large 110mm image circle can be fully utilized over the entire focusing range. The long focal length provides for a comfortable working distance even at the macro limit.
