Ross Video Carbonite Ultra Solo UHD 4K Production Switcher (1 RU)

The Carbonite Ultra Solo UHD 4K Production Switcher from Ross Video is a versatile live-switching system that boasts 12G-SDI connectivity and can be easily integrated into any live studio or production truck rack employing a 1 RU space. When paired with the separately available CB9 control panel, this switcher packs a plethora of advanced functions, including HDR and wide color gamut conversion, and essential production tools, all in UHD 4K resolution. Furthermore, 8GB of internal storage are provided for keeping logos, stills, and other media on hand for quick deployment on the fly.

Note: The CUF-112 does not come with a power supply. You must pick either a standard brick power supply (CUF-PSU), or a rack power option (CUF-RACKPWR) to provide power for the frame.

Flexible ME Resources

With a powerful ME bank and two independent MiniMEs, the unit provides enhanced transition and layering capabilities. The full ME offers six keyers, while each MiniME has two independent keyers, making them ideal for feeding on-set monitors or IMAG displays, simplifying the management of complex effects.

One-Button Control

The switcher features a robust macro system that allows operators to create customized events for controlling the switcher and external devices. An onboard memory system provides easy store and recall functionality, giving operators one-button access to built-in effects.

Multiple Control Points

Compatible with the TouchDrive line of physical control panels, the unit puts most switcher operational parameters at the operator's fingertips. Additionally, the DashBoard software extends control and configuration to any network-connected computer, enabling remote system monitoring and multi-user operations.

Multi-Format Capability

The switcher is designed to meet current and future production needs, supporting both HD and UHD formats. Input, output, ME, and MiniME counts remain consistent across formats, ensuring you have a reliable and versatile platform for growing productions.

Built-In Production Sequencer

The built-in production sequencer simplifies live production by automating repeatable tasks and device controls. Operators can link tasks, events, or device operations, creating a reliable, repeatable sequence for live-production applications.

USB Webcam Integration

The switcher includes a USB webcam output, allowing for seamless integration with conferencing or live streaming applications. This feature makes it easy to combine switcher outputs with third-party streaming platforms.

Advanced Internal Audio Mixer

The internal RAVE audio mixer offers a professional suite of tools for audio processing, mixing, and routing, providing advanced, comprehensive audio control within the switcher.

UltraChrome 2 Technology

The UltraChrome 2 chroma keyer uses independent chroma key engines to produce the video and alpha components of the key. These internal video streams can be composited in a keyer, or fed out via two separate video streams to an external device, such as a video server.
