Designed for small to medium team collaboration, the PegasusPro R8 64TB 8-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Array from Promise Technology is optimized for up the three concurrent 4K video editors and may be shared with up to 20 users via your network. Featuring eight drive bays equipped with 8TB SATA III 2.5" SSDs, the 64TB array is driven by a 3.0 GHz Intel Core i5-8500 6-Core processor and 32GB of DDR4 memory, which comes in a 2 x 16GB configuration and may be upgraded to 64GB. Its hardware-based controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 configurations, while operations are kept cool using a 2700 rpm fan. Connectivity to your host system is established using a 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 port, with a second Thunderbolt 3 port available for daisy-chaining up to five additional devices, such as a Pegasus3 or Pegasus32. Other available ports and slots include four 10GbE RJ45 ports for account access over your network, two 1GbE RJ45 ports for system management using WebPAM Insight, four USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-A 2.0 ports, an HDMI port and a VGA port for technical support only, and two PCIe slots, which are not externally accessible. The PegasusPro R8 is compatible with Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.15 or later.
