Built in a popular configuration for fast action with the added capability of digital ballistic solving, the 1-6x24 EASY6-BDX Riflescope from SIG SAUER is a nimble, low-power variable optic (LPVO) designed for short- to mid-range targeting. SIG's Ballistic Data Xchange (BDX) system allows you to pair your smartphone with the scope and a SIG KILO laser rangefinder, sold separately, and then pool a slew of information to plot a firing solution that is updated and displayed on the BDX-R2 digital ballistic reticle. Even without a rangefinder, you can load ballistic info into the app and use it with the scope. And absent any digital info at all, you still have ED glass, 0.1 MRAD per click correction, a 30mm maintube, and a reticle with a rich array of hold marks for old-fashioned optical use.
- Extra-low dispersion (ED) and high-transmittance (HT) glass provides enhanced light transmission to produce bright and clear high-contrast views with accurate color.
- Antireflection SpectraCoat lens coatings reduce surface reflections, improving light transmission.
- Digital aiming point placement remains accurate at all magnifications.
- 10 adjustable brightness settings ensure clear aiming point visibility in all light conditions.
- BDX information is automatically transferred to the riflescope and clear aiming points are placed on the hairs to indicate an adjusted elevation holdover and windage adjustment—place the dot on the target and fire for precise first-shot accuracy.
- Ability to configure multiple holdover points that are all displayed to eliminate turret adjustments or other distance calculations.
- Use without rangefinder to configure ballistic information and set a reticle profile with multiple holdover distances.
- Designed to provide hunters with the ability to take the most accurate and ethical shot
- Requires compatible rangefinder
- Riflescope can connect to a smartphone running the SIG BDX app for Android or iOS
- Receives and makes automatic adjustments to the reticle aiming point placement to improve shot accuracy
- Through app, user can input round, load, muzzle velocity, and other ballistic information that is used to calculate aiming point placement
- User can choose to input environmental conditions, including temperature, wind speed and direction, and humidity that can be used to adjust aiming point and improve accuracy
- Calculates the maximum effective hunting range
- Indicates when the round's energy may not be sufficient to ensure an ethical kill
- Helps to ensure an ethical hunt by indicating when a given round's energy drops below a threshold
- Threshold can be set by the user in the BDX app
- Based on the ballistic profile provided and distance of the shot
- Capped low-profile windage and elevation turrets
- 40 MRAD elevation and windage adjustment range
- Argon-filled housing for fog and waterproof performance
- ArmorTek: scratch-resistant lens coating
- LevelPlex: integrated digital level with cant indicators located inside of the riflescope, making it more accurate than a typical bubble level
