This battery came with a new SX70 HS from B&H. I charged it fully, but it lasted just 20 days, taking only 72 photos and a few short movies (2GBsish). Are these not low self-discharging batteries?
Sorry to confuse with this question I posted. This authentic Canon LP-E12 battery does perform well. It likely isn't so low self-discharging as some general ion-lithiums like AAs that can sit and hold a full charge for months, but a camera you want to make sure you are fully charged before venturing out...
