The Peak Design Form Rope Camera Strap Standard has a fixed 46.7" length and is ideal for photographers who seek simplicity and style. The soft, durable, full-grain leather develops a unique patina over time. On the underside, a custom-sealed finish enables the leather to glide smoothly across your body, yet maintains enough grip so it won't slip off your shoulder. The low-profile, glass-reinforced, nylon Anchor Link quick-connectors offer secure and effortless camera attachment. Each anchor withstands 200 lb of force and the overall strap is rated at 180 lb. The anchors and housings are backwards and cross-compatible with all other Peak Design straps. The straps are strong enough for a vast majority of camera setups and optimized for carrying smaller kits. Use the aluminum accessory loop to attach a spare anchor and stow the strap on your body when you remove your camera.

Peak Design Form Leather Strap Reviews
A Great Addition to the Peak Design Strap System
I've use a variety of straps depending on what I'm doing, so the Peak Design anchors work well for flexibility. I'm using the Form Standard with my Fujifilm X100VI, but I could use it with my X-T5 and the 50-140 f2.8 zoom, which is pretty substantial: it's wide enough to be comfortable with both. I've used the X100VI with the Leash and the Cuff. The Form doesn't have as many metal parts the Leash has, which makes it better for rolling up and stuffing in a small bag attached to the camera if I need to put the camera away since I carry a camera everywhere and it's not always OK to have it out, and less metal prevents scratching the camera in the bag. I've used another nylon strap, the Simplr strap which I like a lot, but it doesn't use the Anchors, so I can't swap straps easily. I'm happy with the Form, and might pick up a short one just for binoculars hanging from the neck. I'm a 5ft 10in male, and the Standard hangs well from neck and I can sling it cross-body and slide the camera from my back to my eye easily. I've used the Form daily a little over a month, and it shows no wear.
Amazing Strap but a Note on Length (43” = Standard Len.)
Firstly, great shipping speed and service from bh as always. Arrived less than 24hrs from order time, wow! This strap is super minimalist and has a very high quality feel. The connectors are quick and easy to use (just hold the connector body and not the steel spring when swapping). I’ve hiked about 30miles with this strap in crossbody with a 4lb camera+lens combo, so far it has been fantastic and shows little to no signs of use. NOTE: the quoted length from PD includes an extra 3-4” for the anchors, ie the 46” ‘standard’ strap measures about 43” from end to end of the connection hardware. Initially I ordered the Short 40” length but it was far too short at around 36” measured end to end. BH made it easy for me to exchange and I’m now happily using the standard length.
