Peak Design PL-QS-1 Reviews

Handy, especially for those who swing

Great alternative to the standard quick connect plate. One of my cameras I find myself adding a rig to and doing some second cam video. This is a great alternative to the standard plate as I can quickly remove the plate and strap and get it onto a shoulder rig. The only downside I see is that it isn't compatible with the legacy capture system but in fairness those came out over a decade ago.

Why is Standard Plate out of stock for so long?

Clever and effective but not enough to compensate for my irritation at the unavailability for an extended period of the standard plate which forced me to buy the Field Plate. I hope that the standard plate being out of stock was a random if surprising accident and not the result of Peak wanting to promote the Field Plate and I would be reassured about Peak if you wrote to me explaining why a product as simple and important to users as the Standard Plate has been out of stock for so long.
