Behringer BM-11M Overview

Experience the magic of a filter designed by Bob Moog himself at an incredibly affordable price with the Behringer BM-11M, a modular low-pass filter pedal based on the Moog MF-101. Sporting Drive control for rich saturation, an adjustable envelope for dynamic and expressive filter effects, and selectable 2- or 4-pole filtering, the BM-11M offers incredible sonic flexibility.

The filter section provides direct control over Cutoff and Resonance, while the envelope section delivers control over Amount, Mix, and a switch for selecting between Smooth and Fast envelope modes. LED indicators let you know when the envelope is active, if bypass is activated, and if output levels begin to clip. Like the original MF-101, the BM-11M sports a plethora of connectivity, including CV inputs for controlling most of the pedal's parameters (with a separately available expression pedal or Eurorack), an envelope output for modulating external hardware, and both USB-C and 5-pin DIN for MIDI synchronization. With a rugged metal chassis adorned with vintage-inspired wooden panels, this pedal provides a classic, elegant look and rock-solid durability.

Based on a Classic Moogerfooger Pedal
The original MF-101, introduced in 1998, contained two complete modular functions: a classic, all-analog 4-pole low-pass filter paired with an envelope follower to impart dynamic motion to the filtered sound. Designed by Bob Moog (the original master of low-pass filter design) and his engineering team, the MF-101 was a direct descendant of the original Moog modular synthesizers adapted to process. Modulate and play with inputs ranging from guitar, voice, and synthesizer to any imaginable audio source. With this meticulous recreation from Behringer, you can now enjoy the flexibility and power of this classic analog low-pass filter at a fraction of the price.
Modular I/O
Like the Moogerfooger pedals that inspired it, the BM-11M features modular connectivity for CV control of various functions, and more. The I/O includes:

  • 1/4" audio input and output
  • CV inputs for modular control of Cutoff, Mix, Resonance, and Amount parameters
  • Envelope out jack for sending the envelope CV to modulate external devices
  • 5-pin DIN MIDI input for syncing to external hardware
  • USB-C connection for MIDI and computer control
