Barco I600-4K8 Overview

The Barco I600-4K8 8000-Lumen Laser DLP Projector is a lightweight, high-brightness projector model with UHD 4K image quality, thanks to Barco SuperShift technology. This compact single-chip DLP unit utilizes a long-lasting laser phosphor light source to deliver exceptional and consistent color over 20,000 hours of use. Additionally, 360° unrestricted orientation and 24/7 operability make the I600-4K8 well suited for demanding applications.

The I600-4K8 features a fleet of swappable ILD lenses (sold separately), with variable ratios from 0.37 UST to 7.4:1 long-throw, that cover a wide range of image sizes and projector distances. HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs come standard, and an available input expansion slot allows for options including quad-DisplayPort, Fiber, SDI, and HDBaseT connections. Furthermore, this projector is fully integrated in Barco's Pulse ecosystem, which includes various software tools such as Pulse Prospector, Pulse Mobile App, Pulse toolset, and Insights Management Suite to enable easier projector control on-site and in the cloud.

UHD 4K with SuperShift
At the core of the I600 is Barco's patented SuperShift technology. The combination of Barco's own pixel shift algorithms with the latest developments in super-resolution technology, a technology which is being used to improve the quality of medical and scientific imaging, cranks up the 4K quality with smoother images and sharper pixels at remarkably low latency.
DynaBlack Contrast Enhancement
DynaBlack is Barco's new frame-by-frame contrast enhancement feature. DynaBlack analyzes every frame on the fly and distinguishes dark scenes from bright scenes. With ultrafast processing and laser pulsing, the projector can increase the overall dynamic range by making darker scenes darker and brighter scenes brighter, which is crucial in today's projectors, especially with HDR Content.
