Ideal for use in commercial audio installs, such as in restaurants, bars, stores, and schools, the Yamaha VXS5 is a surface-mount loudspeaker with a 5.25" LF driver, a 0.75" soft-dome tweeter, and support for up to 300W of power handling. With a 30W 70/100V multi-tap transformer and an 8-ohm bypass option, the VXS5 can handle both high-impedance and low-impedance systems.
The 120° conical dispersion provides a slightly wide yet balanced spot coverage for install spaces. Installation of the speaker onto surfaces or ceilings is made easy with the flexible mounting bracket design, which include gear guides and the option to install the speaker temporarily to free up your hands. The stylish hexagonal grille fully covers the baffle and the enclosure can be fully painted to fit any environment. Input and thru connectivity on the loudspeaker is provided over block connections. Sold in a pair, the VXS5 includes two mounting brackets and two terminal covers.
