The FLEX 4K Mini Broadcast Camera from Proton is a Proton CAM model with a split body connected via an 11.8" ribbon cable, which allows the sensor to remain cool during operation while maintaining a warm environment for the video processing portion of the camera. It is a very compact, cube-sized camera with HDR support and is equipped with 12-bit sensor technology and high sensitivity.
The versatile device captures vibrant images even in low light, boasting a wide angle of up to 97° using the included interchangeable S-mount 3.2mm f/2.3 lens. Its compact housing features eight 2.5mm holes for individual mounting options, as well as a bracket that can be attached to the top or bottom of the camera to provide an additional 1/4"-20 thread for tripod mounting or another type of stand or truss. The 1/1.8" CMOS sensor captures resolutions up to UHD 4K60, and it features RS-485 control.
