Storage Trio
The Khronos storage system has an SD, microSD, and M.2 SSD slot, giving you the ability to add one, two, or all three backup options, depending on your mobile storage needs. The SD and microSD slots provide up to 310 Mb/s data transfer speeds, while the M.2 SSD drive can transfer data at up to 10 Gb/s. A built-in selector switch lets you quickly choose which storage option to use, so you can use the faster M.2 SSD for 4K videos and the memory cards for images. The Khronos is designed to support either 2230 or 2242 type M.2 SSD options.
Passthrough Power
When you're sitting down to offload all of your files and begin editing, you can use the USB-C PD input with an optional cable and power adapter to supply up to 100W of power. This power can pass through to not only run the Khronos, but also charge your smartphone.

just an extra TB for an iPhone 17 pro max will cost u hundreds and hundreds. This was worth it just with that.

Tilta's Design People Didn't Really Think This One Through As Far As How It Works With Other Components In The Khronos Ecosystem. Specifically The Quick Release USB-C Hub And The Focus PD Handle.
Because The Right Angle USB C Cables Stick Out From The Bottom, You Cannot Connect The Quick Release USB-C Hub To The Bottom Of The Cage. You Have To Either Mount The Hub To The Left Side Or The Top Side Of The Cage. Which Means You Need To Buy A Longer USB C Cable
Also, When Connecting The Focus PD Handle, The Stiffness And Length Of The Included USB-C Cable Has The Effect Of Pulling The Cooling Storage System Slightly Away From The Magsafe Connection On The Back Of The IPhone, So The Cooling Storage System Easily Pops Off If You Even Look At It Wrong.
I Really Liked The Concept Of This - A Combined SSD Storage And IPhone Cooling System With A Low Profile, But I Wish They Would Have Done More Prototyping And Design Validation Before Releasing This.
