What is the max height with the base set flat?
Asked by: Marvin
The Matthews Location MERF Stand (83") maximum working height is 83". With the base flat the MERF stands at 73" in height. NOTE: The Merf stand is not intended to be used with the base set completely flat as the center protrudes creating instability when open completely flat.

Looking for a travel solution. Will theses stands be good for boom and shotgun / aputure 60d w/ soft mix mini ii?
Asked by: joe
The Matthews MERF Mini Extendable Reverse Stand would work well for holding an Aputure 60d light; it might work as a boom for a very lightweight mic, but putting weight on the legs would be a good idea.
