A new member of the UNICAM XE HD Camera System, the Ikegami UHK-X600 4K Upgradeable HD Studio/Portable Camera System comes with the VFL201D 2" digital I/F LCD color viewfinder. It is equipped with a conventional B4 mount. Boasting three 2/3" CMOS sensors (one for each RGB channel) with global shutter technology, the UHK-X600 is field upgradeable with optional software keys to provide you with options for upgrading to additional functionalities, such as 4K video capture at 60 fps, HFR capturing, and 4K/HD SDR simulcasting. The included viewfinder features a 960 x 540 2" QHD LCD screen with 8-bit color support, and the system handles a wide color gamut and HDR support.
3 CMOS Global Shutter Sensor
The CMOS sensor incorporates a global shutter pixel architecture, enabling the camera to capture natural images even under challenging situations. Still frame replay of fast-moving objects is free from geometric distortion, and there are no flash bands when the camera is shooting under strobe lights or flashes from still cameras.
No Color Aliasing
Three-chip optical technology drastically reduces color aliasing, which is always an issue with single-chip cameras. With the optional Low-Pass-Filter, aliasing effects can be reduced even more, which is especially helpful when shooting LED walls.
Remote Back Focus Adjustment
The Remote Backfocus Adjustment function helps set accurate back focus, even when the camera head is located in an environment where it is hard to reach the back focus adjustment on the lens or difficult to critically see the viewfinder picture.
Focus Assist Function
The Focus Assist function is a newly incorporated useful tool, providing a very distinct enhancement to the viewfinder signal to enable the camera operator to make critical focus adjustments. The size of the area, area color, edge color, and display time on the viewfinder are adjustable in the camera menu.
Wide Color Space and HDR
The gamma setting is selectable and can be customized to create a specific tone. The Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), which conforms to the international standard (ITU-R BT.2100), is preinstalled and enables more neutral image quality with high contrast for a wider dynamic range. This allows for more image information to be retained with greater headroom and color grading.
Compact, Lightweight, and User Friendly
The compact body, 11 lb weight, and low center of gravity create the perfect balance together with the adjustable shoulder pad while shooting on the shoulder. Additionally, the viewfinder can be adjusted in three axes.
