The Audio-Technica AT8492S Surface Mount System allows you to use an ATM350a cardioid condenser instrument mic and included 5" gooseneck with challenging or non-traditional mounting applications, such as an accordion.
Permanent attachment can be achieved using an accordion’s grille screw and the included adhesive silicon pad, while a more temporary solution uses the included fastener tape pads. A transparent protective film is also included to prevent aesthetic damage. The mount includes a socket with locking screw to securely hold the included AT8490 5" gooseneck or a separately available AT8490L 9" gooseneck.
