The Aura 19" PoE++ PTZ NDI Teleprompter with NDI Talent Monitor & IP Tally from ikan is designed for use with PTZ cameras in live, scripted productions on fast NDI networks. The monitor is equipped with an Ethernet port that supports NDI signals, PoE++ power, and LAN connectivity, so you can connect to your prompter app with only one cable. It also features an enclosed PTZ camera hood, a sliding base mount, a set of camera risers, and 65/35 beamsplitter glass.
Versatile Connectivity
The monitor features a Gigabit Ethernet connection that supports full, high-bandwidth NDI for high-quality, low-latency video transmission over standard Ethernet networks. It also provides 3G-SDI, HDMI, composite, and VGA inputs, a 1920 x 1080 resolution, and support for video resolutions up to 1080p60. The on-screen display (OSD) menu allows adjustment for contrast, brightness, RGB intensity, and aspect ratio.
Designed with PTZ Cameras in Mind
The PTZ prompter system enables unconstrained PTZ camera pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities while still behind the reflective teleprompter glass, so you can pan the camera between multiple people while reading from the same script.
The lightweight, enclosed PTZ hood includes an opening in the back that gives you quick access to the PTZ camera inputs and outputs. The opening can be closed with a drawstring to prevent light leaks.
Wide Camera Compatibility
The prompter includes three different camera riser bases, making it compatible with a wide variety of cameras such as professional ENG cameras, cinema cameras, mirrorless cameras, and camcorders.
65/35 Beamsplitter Glass
The beamsplitter glass is coated, so that it reflects 65% of the light projected onto it while allowing the remaining 35% to pass through.
This enables the presenter to read the reflected script text clearly, projected from a monitor below or behind the glass, while allowing the camera behind the glass to record through it.
Talent Monitor
The included talent monitor mounts below the teleprompter using the propter's the 15mm rod mount to enable on-screen talent see their scripts live. Like the main monitor, the talent monitor features the same Ethernet/NDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI, Composite, and VGA, inputs and OSD adjustments. When plugged into a compatible video switcher, the talent monitor utilizes a red/green tally light that lets you know when your camera is live.
Image Flip
The monitor features an image flip button that allows for both horizontal and vertical flipping of the displayed image.
Durable Design
An installed acrylic screen protector shields the LCD from scratches, dust, and accidental impacts. The robust aluminum housing protects the monitor from impacts in any production environment. The monitor features bezel-mounted buttons making it easy to navigate menu functions or change your input source.
The monitor also includes a rackmount, so that you can mount it onto a standard 19" rack, taking up 7 rack units. The rackmount includes handles for easy install and removal from a rack.
Built-In Tally Light
The tally light on top ensures that your talent and crew can easily view the on-air status. It can be controlled one of three ways:
- As an IP tally light, it can work directly with Vmix
- It can work as a contact closure for switchers via the a GPI output
- Tally can be enabled via NDI
Preset Buttons
The NDI monitor includes 10 preset buttons for quick access to different NDI streams. You can assign each one to a specific preset number (from 1 to 10) to instantly switch the monitor to display that stream.
