From Manufacturer
Primed for adventures in audio, the Elektron Tonverk is unique polyphonic sampling workstation designed to to propel you toward extraordinary musicmaking and boundless sound exploration. Tonverk is a revelatory pathfinder in which to immerse yourself, offering diverse solutions to capture, process, and route your sound.
Tonverk is a versatile, playful, creative machine capable of adapting to whatever you want to do. It's a labyrinth full of routes and revelations. Sixteen varied tracks—eight of them audio with multiple machines, polyphonic stereo sampling, a kaleidoscope of effects and modulation, multisampled instruments, subtracks within tracks, and routing—pushed until it becomes a playground. Whether you’re multisampling your favorite synth, building unique drum kits, or routing sounds out and back in again for further alchemy, Tonverk is ready to take you there.
Wavefinder
- Wavefinder gives you two independent wavetable oscillators that can be modulated and blended. Dive in and shape your tone by picking your wavetables and using Position to find the perfect wave, and Level to find the perfect mix. Set tune and detune, and then modulate your position and level by choosing one of the 12 wavetable animations, with further modulation controls available. All of this works together to unlock deeper layers of movement and expression, further increased by the ability to add your own wavetables. This extra slice of synthesis broadens Tonverk's sound palette, both on its own and alongside the other sample Machines already at your disposal.
Subtrack mhoking
- Your Subtracks now come with chokes. Each Subtrack can be assigned so that as soon as they are triggered, they immediately silence other Subtracks. Enjoy fluid rhythmic interplay and watertight hi-hat control.
Arp Parameter Locks and Randomization
- Tonverk’s arpeggiator gets a pair of power-ups to make it an even more useful and experimental tool. You can now, for the very first time, parameter lock tweaks to arp settings. Additionally, when in Live Recording mode, any parameter changes can be captured into the sequence. And, you can also randomize the arp page, letting you instantly generate arpeggios that can be wild and occasionally wonderful.
Page Looping
- Your page selection and looping wishes are answered. Hold the page button when in grid recording mode, press arrow up or down, then pick your page via the trigs. Easily jump straight to or loop any specific page (or pages) you want.
