The Topcat Ceiling-Mount Instructional Audio System from Lightspeed is an integrative wireless audio communications system with numerous helpful features for both teacher and student; additional safety and customization options allow for versatile teacher-to-student or collaborative classroom activities requiring audio.

The desired classroom audio presentation is evenly distributed throughout the environment over a 200' range. PA announcements are allowed to "talk-over" any active content. The speaker flush mounts to the ceiling or wall (with separately available bracket) and easily pairs, eliminating the need for wiring. The unit offers S/PDIF input and output jacks to interconnect Topcats and features a 3.5mm TRS input to accept external audio. Additional microphones can be added for student responses as well as monitoring student discussions or projects.

The Lightspeed FMN Flexmike Classroom Microphone for Teachers is a battery-operated microphone for use with Lightspeed classroom audio systems. When used with a Lightspeed base station setup in the desired area, Flexmike projects the teacher's voice clearly over a 200' indoor range. Volume controls allow the presenter to quickly and conveniently make volume adjustments as necessary, and audio can be monitored via a 3.5mm headphone output.

The unidirectional pickup pattern reduces noise and unwanted audio transmission, and the unit lasts up to 8 hours when fully charged, providing enough time to get through a school day without recharging.
