Easy to setup, AirPrint function working well and has made the household happy. Print output is fast and looks good. Our last canon printer lasted well over a decade, and technically still works but it started smearing with heavy black content so it was time to upgrade. Well worth the cost.

There is no option to scan to email in grayscale from the machine control panel; only color and black-and-white modes are available. The PDF output of black-and-white scans contains NTSC TV artifacts. In the settings, the option to use alternative grayscale conversion algorithms (sRGB, RGB) is disabled.
