The Godox S3 Speedlite Bracket (B&H# GOS3BRCT) and the Godox S2 Speedlite Bracket for Bowens (B&H# GOS2) are very similar, and they essentially perform the same function. However, the newer option (i.e., the S3), has a larger central opening to accommodate larger strobes and flashes. One product with which this is especially helpful is the Godox AD300 series, such as the Godox AD300Pro II All-in-One Outdoor Flash (B&H# GOAD300PRO2). The built-in umbrella holder in the S3 also features a knob as part of the clamp used to secure the umbrella shaft in place, while that of the S2 relies on friction alone to hold onto the umbrella shaft.
