Sitting at the heart of the V-Drums 3 series, the Roland V31 is a drum sound module powered by the same engine found in the flagship V71. Featuring high-quality multisampled, multilayered drum kits made in collaboration with DW, with loads of hands-on sound modification and performance tools, the V31 is ready to power your learning, playing, and performing.
The 4.3" color display, with panel faders and an intuitive interface, ensure painless navigation and operation. The V31 comes loaded with 200 drum kits (with more than 70 presets) and over 1000 instruments. Use the Sound Modify section to adjust tuning, muffling, and kit components. Explore the integrated coach mode to utilize a phrase trainer, stroke monitor, and other advanced tools. With MIDI connectivity and a USB-C multichannel audio interface, you can seamlessly integrate with DAWs and software-based instruments for expanded creative possibilities. You can also enjoy Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless connectivity for streaming audio from mobile devices and expanding your sound library via Roland Cloud. And with an onboard audio recorder and SD-card slot, you can quickly record your performances and playback tracks.
Up to six expansions can be active at once, and you can freely exchange kicks, snares, cymbals, and other components between different kits. Roland also offer V-Drums Kit Packs created by top drummers and producers including many titles—for playing with spot-on recreations of the kits used in the most influential songs of all time.
Process the full kit like a studio engineer using vintage and modern multi-effects, reverb, and more. And with convolution-based ambience tools and overhead, room, and kit resonance options, you can produce everything from the upfront realism of the playing position to the immersive atmosphere of nearly any space.
