Hammer Klavier from Impact Soundworks features an avant-garde instrument with a new sound, the dynamic responsiveness of a regular piano, and much greater versatility than the typical prepared piano. Created in partnership with YouTuber and musical mad scientist Mattias Krantz, these sounds were created using an upright piano with its felt hammers replaced with actual metal-tipped hammers.
- One-of-a-kind prepared upright piano with every hammer replaced with real, actual metal hammers, creating a beautiful strong tone
- Double or triple voice stacking to create a larger-than-life piano sound by stacking voices with a single click
- Adjust tuning, stereo width, and unison volume easily
- Pristine 24-bit recordings captured with 2 distinct stereo mic positions for detail, space, and air
- Six dynamic layers, chromatic sampling (every key recorded individually), two general round-robins, five release round-robins
- Twenty production-ready snapshots suitable for soundtrack music, pop, rock, ambient, and everything in between
