ASUS NUC 2025 Overview

Battle the competition, explore fantastical worlds, and create quality content with the deceptively small ROG NUC NUC15JNK Mini Desktop Computer from ASUS. Designed to fit a variety of spaces while delivering gaming-grade performance, the ROG NUC is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX 24-Core processor, which features a dedicated NPU for AI workloads. It also delivers high frame rates and rich visuals with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU.

With 32GB of DDR5-6400 memory and a 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, you can quickly load and multitask demanding applications. Built-in Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) support and a 2.5G Ethernet port provide high-speed internet access for smooth 8K video and online gaming experiences. Use the rear-facing Thunderbolt 4 port to transfer up to 40 Gb/s. The front panel includes a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port that works with up to 20 Gb/s devices. They are accompanied by a total of six USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports that can transfer large videos, photos, and other files with compatible devices at up to 10 Gb/s. You can stand the ROG NUC vertically to conserve space and maximize airflow for optimal performance. Windows 11 Home is preinstalled. A US power cable is included.

Intel Ultra Performance
The Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor powers applications with eight Performance cores while 16 Efficient cores handle background tasks. The Performance cores have a base speed of 2.7 GHz and a Max Turbo frequency of 5.4 GHz. A dedicated NPU accelerates AI workloads with 13 TOPS.

The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU delivers the performance you need for high frame rates and high resolution visuals for the latest games. Utilize real-time raytracing, DLSS 4, and AI features to make sure you get the most out of your gameplay.

Featuring a dual vapor chamber and three fans, the advanced cooling system quietly helps to maintain optimal performance during heavy loads.
Upgrade Ready
Two dual-channel DDR5-6400 CSO-DIMM slots are available, supporting up to 32GB. For storage, there is one M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0 x4 slot.
Thunderbolt 4
Thunderbolt 4 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB-C connector and features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB4 at up to 20 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort allows you to connect either one 8K monitor or up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 4 port.
Network Connectivity
Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) support provides access to the less congested 6 GHz band with compatible wireless networks. The 2.5G Ethernet port provides a fast and reliable wired internet connections.

Windows 11 Home
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps.

The fastest mini PC available!

Now that I've switched my entire setup over to mini PCs I can confidently say this is the fastest mini PC money can buy right now. Sure, it's expensive but if you're looking for small form factor with BIG power there's nothing else to look at. There has not been a single game or task that this machine doesn't run with complete ease. You also have full control over its power-modes so that you can decide if it's all out performance you need or silent, cool task completion. Even though its 5080 is a mobile version, 16GBs of VRAM is included (Finally!) so 4k gaming and VR are completely on the table for this pint-sized mini. At this point I've acquired a small fleet of mini-pcs; some with iGPUs and other high end models with dGPUs but only 8GBs of VRAM. These limitations are completely blown out of the water with the ROG NUC 2025. I've never enjoyed using a computer as much as the 2025 ROG NUC. The previous generation of ROG NUC left a few things to be desired in the performance department but ASUS has learned and corrected with this model. You won't be disappointed!

Best out there for FS2024 in VR

I am a big into flight simulator 2024 in VR (With a quest 3) This machine with a 5080 runs at 90FPS when set in godlike mode in virtual desktop and VR mode. For reference, I was using an I9-14000 with a rtx3080 and the best i ever saw out of that was 40fps. Has to be the fastest PC i 've ever had, and its a mini to boot. I also have 10gb fiber, the computer is in the same room as the router (maybe 8 ft away), and the WIFI 7 on this thing gets 3500/3500 mbs. faster than the 2.5gb wired connection it has. I also have it hooked up to an apple studio display through the thunderbolt 4 port, and it easily handles the 5K and sound. Most importantly, it handles the apple monitor correctly, no unplugging/plugging in to get it to turn on (If you ever tried to hook a studio display to a Windows PC, you know what this means) Absolutely an amazing machine and worth every penny. B&H delivered this in 2 days, great service as always. I see as i write this it is out of stock, not surprising, jump on it as soon as they get them in, this is going to be a big seller.
