The ARRI PL-mount Canon CINE-SERVO 11-55mm Zoom Lens provides 8K and HDR-compatible imaging for Super 35 and full-frame sensor digital cinema cameras. The compact zoom features an 11-55mm focal length range and T2.95 maximum aperture natively compatible with Super 35 sensors. A built-in 1.5x extender, when engaged, expands its compatibility to full-frame sensors and extends its reach to 16.5-82.5mm with a T4.4 maximum aperture. The cinema lens series has a consistently warm color balance for accurate skin tone reproduction. An upgraded V Drive unit makes for improved focus and iris speed.
Minimum Focus Distance
The 11-55mm lens can focus on objects 2' or farther away, making it ideal for mounting onto jibs, tripods, or for use in handheld shooting applications.
8K and HDR Image Support
Large-diameter aspherical lens elements and anomalous dispersion glass ensure the lens can support 8K cameras throughout its zoom range. Chromatic aberrations are controlled from the center to the edge of the image to reduce color bleeding. Internal light-shielding and coating optimization reduce ghosting and flaring.
Reduced Focus Breathing
The CINE-SERVO's optical design reduces focus breathing so your angle of view remains consistent even when actively focusing, zooming, and framing your shots.
Upgraded V Drive Unit
Inspired by broadcast zoom lenses, the CINE-SERVO's V Drive unit features focus breathing correction and improved servo performance. An integrated information display and USB-C terminal facilitate easy setup and maintenance of your equipment. Three Hirose 20-pin ports power the drive while enabling remote iris control, as well as support for Cooke/i Technology and ZEISS eXtended Data. The lens supports 12-pin serial communication for standard broadcast systems. A 16-bit value encoder expands your imaging capabilities by communicating accurate positional information. This makes calibration even easier during compositing in post.
11-Blade Iris
An 11-blade iris creates a natural, circular bokeh throughout the aperture range up to T2.95. The odd number of blades creates a soft glow without any overlapping.
ARIA and ALAC Compatible
The lens features ARIA (Automatic Restoration of Illumination Attenuation) and ALAC (Automatic Lens Aberration Compensation) compatibility. ARIA enhances illumination performance, and ALAC provides correction with compatible camera models.
