This viewfinder gives a crystal clear view with a bright-line to indicate the image borders (at several feet distance). You need to mentally compensate at close distances where parallelax error occurs because of the distance between the lens and the viewfinder image. The point is, using a viewfinder like this on a camera that has no optical or electronic viewfinder, will at least point you in the right direction. Is it worth the price? For me, it was. You have to decide that for yourself.
Leaning-eyed finder, about a 5+% tilt

When put into accessary hot shoe slot, can see tilt as the digital Nikon 770 image view leans, torn between returning it or living with it? The tilt easily viewed when crystal finder held up in fingers. One Star may be too high a rating........ Made in China
