The Initial Audio Sourcelab Virtual Synthesizer is an audio sandbox. This plug-in supports up to six sound sources, with each source capable of acting as a Wavetable Oscillator, Sampler, or Loop Slicer. It features advanced routing, a 6-layer MIDI sequencer, professional effect racks, and a preset browser with tagging, all this allows you to layer wavetable synths with multisampled instruments or sliced loops. The plug-in works with DAWs that support AU, AAX, and VST3 protocols, running on Windows and Mac systems.

Hybrid Engine
Six sound sources—combine wavetable synths, samples, and loops in a new intuitive way that redefines creativity. Each source supports 24-voice unison, ZTX time-stretch, warp modes, frequency modulation, and more.
Modulation Suite
Over 14 modulators—AHDSRs with legato and sequencer triggering, LFOs with custom shapes and sync options, MSEGs with loop modes, and node-based editing enables sound design that stands out.
Granular Engine
Apply granular synthesis to samples and loops—tweak size, density, and pitch (±24 semitones), and randomize options like start position, gain, and direction. For added musicality, the granular engine includes an Arp Mode.
MIDI Sequencing
Six-layer sequencer with a master lane and individual routing to each sound source. Trigger drums, synths, and basses independently or in sync with drag-and-drop MIDI import/export.
Effect Racks
Six racks with compressor, reverb, delay, multiband, and more—route them serially or in parallel with drag-and-drop ordering. Create a master rack for final polish, delivering a pro-grade mix within the plug-in.
Preset Browser
Advanced tagging system for genres and characteristics—filter by tags, add custom author notes and images, and share effortlessly via drag-and-drop as a single, consolidated file, BPM-synced for maximum portability.
