Microtech Gefell M 41 Supercardioid Condenser Microphone Capsule for Generation 4 Series

Part of Microtech Gefell's Generation 4 modular microphone system, the M 41 is a small-diaphragm supercardioid condenser mic capsule made for use with MV 400 preamplifiers. Its design is refined and compact, with the lightweight polyethylene membrane providing articulation across its 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response while handling high SPLs up to 146 dB and producing only 14 dBA of self-noise. The M 41's supercardioid polar response is designed to pick up a tight area in front, but also some sound from directly behind the mic.
