highly recommend that you buy this instead of the standard riser. the standard is bolted to the bottom of your camera and if you don’t want to use 15mm rails for your camera build, you can’t just remove the Leftfield Mini without unscrewing (hard to reach) screws that bolt to your camera. This dji option has a quick release system so you can easily slide off the Leftfield Mini from your camera if you want to size it down or put it on a DJI gimbal
The concept is good- to go quickly from a gimbal into a dovetail for tripod work, but I’m not sure this will prove to be a good option for me. Like everything from BT, it’s well made and a nice level of quality. There’s only 3 screws for the mount and the threads are very short, so not sure how stable and reliable it will be with use. Also using the DJI plate will mean that there are so many connecting pieces in between camera and tripod, which isn’t ideal. (Not a fault of BT, just not sure the convenience is worth it for the use case.)
