An improvement over many other thermal sensors, the S220 Pro can provide inspectors and first responders with incredibly fine detail. While in flight, pilots can take advantage of AI smart recognition for long-range detection and tracking, plus autonomous route flying indoors where GNSS access is unavailable.
AI Smart Recognition
It integrates multi-sensor, AI-based object recognition with real-time edge detection and subject tracking. The system can detect people from up to 1.2 miles away and vehicles from up to 3.7 miles away, while recognizing each from up to 984' away.
Emergency Satellite Communication
There are plenty of instances where commercial and governmental missions take pilots out of range of terrestrial wireless communications, such as when at sea or in remote areas. Emergency communication in these situations can be critical, which is why the S220 Pro is outfitted with a remote controller with the ability for direct satellite communication.
GDU Software Integration
GDU Flight II is a companion app that offers flight planning, drone control, and more. It works together with the GDU UVER smart management platform. With GDU UVER and GDU Flight II, operators can gather flight information for uploading to the cloud, employ operation and maintenance monitoring, as well as data processing and synchronization.
