Well, this one was $99 and it is exact same thing as the Canon one for $450 now I’ve tried other grips but this is the only one that seems to work on the R 6 m3. The only issue is you have to use the camera battery that came with the camera. If you use a different type of battery, you don’t get some of the features so I did order an extra battery but other than that it works amazing I’m actually covering a rodeo right now.

Hi, I have a Canon EOS R5 Mark II and plan to use Vello’s BG-C21 battery grip with two genuine Canon LP-E6P batteries. Can you confirm whether this combination supports all R5 Mark II functions without restrictions, specifically: * 30 fps electronic shutter continuous shooting * Pre-continuous shooting * Full 4K 60p and 8K video capabilities * Normal Wi-Fi functionality Does the BG-C21 operate with the same functional capabilities as Canon’s BG-R20, rather than the restricted BG-R10?
Asked by: PRASHANT
As long as you use Canon LP-E6P batteries, the Vello Battery Grip for Canon EOS R5, R5 II, R6, R6 II, and R6 III Mirrorless Cameras will have the same capabilities as the Canon BG-R20 battery grip.
