Epson 3800 Overview

Enjoy your video games and multimedia content on a big screen with the Epson Home Cinema 3800 HDR Pixel-Shift 4K UHD 3LCD Home Theater Projector. It uses pixel-shifting technology to project 4K UHD resolution onto your wall or screen with compatible content and features HDR10 and HLG compatibility to produce a wide color gamut with compatible source content and equipment. It outputs up to 3000 lumens of color and white brightness and has a 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio to help produce details even in dark areas of the image. The projector has two HDMI inputs for connecting your digital HD devices such as a gaming console, Blu-ray player, or cable/satellite box. The Home Cinema 3800 includes an IR remote control for additional convenience.

4K PRO-UHD Projection Technology
This technology uses digital processing to enhance the resolution, color, and overall image.
3LCD Design
3LCD technology can display up to 100% of the RGB color signal without compromising brightness.
4K Processing
Pixel-shifting technology controls the three individual, high-definition LCD chips to process millions of pixels in parallel.
10-Bit HDR
The Home Cinema 3800 accepts 100% of the HDR source information to faithfully reproduce HDR content for enhanced color quality. It supports the HDR10 and HLG HDR formats.
Digital Video Processing
Real time, 12-bit analog-to-digital video processing is onboard to help provide smooth tonal transitions, eliminate banding, blocking, and other compression artifacts.
Enhanced Brightness and Contrast
The Home Cinema 3800 outputs up to 3000 lumens of color and white brightness with a dynamic contrast ratio up to 100,000:1.
18 Gb/s HDMI 2.0 Support
This projector supports most color formats, depths, and color spaces, as well as 4K HDR content at 60 Hz.
Multi-Element Lens
The lens uses a multi-element glass structure to help produce augmented image clarity and edge-to-edge focus uniformity, along with vertical and horizontal lens shift adjustment.
Bluetooth aptX Support
Bluetooth lets you wirelessly connect to your compatible external sound system.
Active 3D Support
The projector supports optional active 3D glasses for a more immersive experience. 3D video is projected at up to Full HD resolution.
Built-In Stereo Speakers

I almost went with a different projector that had more bells and whistles. Thank goodness I didn't. This projector is all about the image. For the price, it just can't be beat. If you love the cinema, find your favorite movie in 4K and it will be just like you are in a movie theater.

The Epson Home Cinema 3800 HDR Pixel-Shift 4K UHD 3LCD Home Theater Projector (BH #EPHC3800P) does not feature ARC or eARC. The BenQ TK860i 3300-Lumen UHD 4K DLP Home Theater Projector (BH #BETK860I) features eARC.
