Bellari BA525 Reviews

Worthwhile Option

After purchasing the Fosi Headphone Amp and Fosi Planar Headset which are incredible without any modifications I wanted the option of an analogue sound. The Bellari BA525 seemed the best choice after researching a significantly more expensive unit and a cheaper unit from an independent manufacturer which contained only one tube. I wanted the discrete use of two tubes and the ease of tube rolling. The build quality is great and the company support outstanding…I had questions with regard to placement in the chain—streamer to equalizer to amp. There is a significant change in sound nature when A-B ing pure digital to analogue tube…the Bellari allows easy removal or engagement via one button. The warmth and fullness is noticeable. I noticed a reduction in sound intensity which necessitated turning up the volume of the amp…taking the Bellari out of the chain—caused a significant increase in sound intensity. Is it a must have item—not really—but, gives a nice change listening to certain music—especially classical.
