Dual OPA1642 and TPA6120A DAC op-amps and Elna capacitors handle PCM files up to 384 kHz and DSD up to DSD1024. The four-channel fully differential 24-bit R2R DAC consists of two 48 precision thin-film resistor arrays per channel (192 resistors in all) with low temperature drift and high tolerance.
The device features analog stereo RCA line in as well as coaxial and optical inputs, and stereo balanced XLR and RCA outputs and a USB-C port. Multiple filter presets and a 10-band parametric EQ are accessible through the FiiO Control app, which can also customize the LED readout color and effects. Oversampling and Non-Oversampling modes offer two distinct flavors of listening, which may lend themselves better to certain genres or songs.
