So the thing about the Omada SG series switches, like this one, is that they don't report much information to the controller. Eg., you can't see the IP address of the devices attached to the switch ports in the controller -- you only see the MAC address. I was shocked to discover this, makes some network management tasks kinda a pain. But for the price, it's still pretty hard to complain given how easy this switch adopts into the network. And it does handle VLAN just fine, so it does have some advanced features available.
