Big output, small fixture

I was so impressed with the ML150, that I purchased another one. i know the photometric stats are a good gauge for what output is advertised, but I pulled out my light meter to give these a real test. Here's what I compared : the ML150 with Godox mount soft box, NO Diff Grid, and the Godox 200bi light mat with soft box and NO Diff Grid. At about 1 yard, they metered within one tenth of a stop from each other. The 200bi was 1 tenth of a stop hotter. Pretty amazing how much the ML150 can output with such a smaller form function and less Whr consumption. For folks running a small crew, these are a must!

Could not wait to try this light out from Godox. The form factor makes it so easy to travel with and packs down super easy. Combined with 212 v mount, this is a great option for secondary hair light, but also has the output for a really nice key, as show in the photos. I do alot of traveling for work, planning to get a second, so have something this portable makes for great workflow. Also the app is fantastic.

The Godox ML150 Bi-Color LED Video Light (B&H# GOML150BI) is a bicolor LED light and does not have options for green or magenta color shift adjustment. The Godox Litemons LA150R RGB LED Monolight (Black, Travel Kit) (B&H# GOLA150RK1B) is the most similar alternative offering that feature as of this time.

The Godox ML150 Bi-Color LED Video Light uses the Godox ML-BA Battery (6600mAh), BH # GOMLBA, which will give over an hour of use on the light.

There are no native dedicated grids available right now for the Godox ML150 Bi-Color LED Video Light, although a set of barndoors for controlling light is available under the Accessories tab on that product page. You could also use an optional Bowens adapter to add compatible softboxes that do have a grid available.
