Grandstream GWN7672 Reviews
Grandstream GWN7672 is a solid AP that performs as well as Ubiquiti WiFi 7 offerings for less
These are really nice access points. A big benefit over Ubiquiti is that no controller is required for CAPWAP remote configuration. One of the Grandstream APs will act as a controller for the others. Performance was on par with Ubiquiti U7 Pro XG with my devices (M4 Macbook Air - WiFi 6E, iPhone 16 Pro - WiFi 7) reaching 1.6Gbps with the iPhone 16 Pro on both the Grandstream GWN7672 and the Ubiquti U7 Pro XG. I suspect this is the limitation of my clients. Web UI looks similar to Ubiquiti with a few less knobs but none that I have missed. I like that it has a secondary ethernet port for connecting a remote device when only I cable is present where the U7 Pro XG does not. The price of the Grandstream GWN7672 is about $20 USD cheaper than the Ubiquti U7 Pro XG. The GWN7672 is solid, heavy, and well built.
