Tenba Roadie v2 Spinner 21 International

Love this Tenba case!

I’m surprised there are no reviews yet for the Tenba Roadie v2 Spinner 21 International, so here you go. I waited until I flew a few times before writing this just to make sure all was good. I have traditionally used a backpack for my gear when traveling. I usually have multiple camera bags, one that securely carries all the gear needed and one to take in the field with a subset of that gear. Sometimes, I will also have a dry bag if I am in a boat or kayak as well as a small TUMI shoulder bag when I just need one camera and maybe two wide angles. These bags are empty and go into my checked suitcase as needed for the trip. So, back to the Tenba case. Until a few months ago, I used a popular, and very well-made camera backpack. But, it is heavy when loaded and was becoming a pain carry on my back. Admittedly, it was my always-practical wife, who suggested a roller bag. I did quite a bit of research and settled on this Tenba model mostly due to our frequent international travel. I can’t say enough good things about it. Some of my favorite features include: • Highly configurable interior. • More room than expected, especially when I build “garages” under my longer lenses to hold accessories. • Incredibly smooth rolling • External pouch for paperwork and laptop • Very strong and well-built. • Easily fits into most commercial airline overheads and meets international size standards. I’ve included some photos to show just how much gear I get in this case. A few shots show some areas beneath the longer lenses to store even more, including a monopod. What I fit: Two Sony A1 bodies, one 200-600mm, 70-200mm 28-105mm, 14mm 90mm macro, 1.4x converter, plus whatever accessories I may need for the trip. Love it!
