Why are the dimensions of barn doors so weird, almost as a cube?
There are 8 leaves on the barndoors of the Aputure CF10 Fresnel & Barndoors Kit. Two opposite leaves are plain solid leaves, and the other two have three leaves each; this is so you can better control the spill. You describe the image of the barndoors when closed, but when opened, they do look like a traditional barndoor set.
