Delivering distinctive acoustic aesthetics with digital precision and convenience, the Roland KD-18 is an 18" electronic kick drum with a full-depth wood shell and a sensor system built directly into the acoustic drum head. With authentic acoustic-style look, feel, and rebound, this kick drum is an excellent choice for a natural playing experience.
The KD-18 shares the same core design as the larger KD-22, but with a size that can fit more easily into tight spaces. The enlarged trigger area can easily support double-kick pedals and short beater settings. The lifter is adjustable, as are the telescoping legs, which feature adjustment indicators and a newly designed rubber foot and nut design. The KD-18 sports custom chrome lugs, claws, and spurs for a stylish look. The KD-18 includes an adhesive kick drum patch, an antislip sheet, a 1/4" TRS connection cable, and a drum key for tension adjustment.
