Just recorded C4k30 4:2:2 150mbps until battery got completely depleted, which is 80 minutes, in 80 degree room while recording to both cards for a backup. No overheating issues at all. Pictures are great as usual just eats up a lot of space. So far I’m very happy with the purchase. I only wish that battery life would be a bit better.

Coming from an a7rv, it took time for me to get used to the layout, the custom quick menu, and a few other quirks. After using it though it's become my favorite camera. It doesn't overheat like all the reviews say and I've been on shoots during the summer in Joshua Tree, beaches, and long 4 hour ecom shoots. Pretty good I'd say.

The Panasonic LUMIX S1R II Mirrorless Camera with 24-60mm f/2.8 Lens does not have a PC sync terminal. It only has a hot shoe. One can use a wireless flash trigger, or you can use an adapter, like the Vello Universal Hot Shoe Adapter with 3.5mm Mini Phono and PC Connection, BH # VEHSAPCU35, to create a port on the camera.

If mounted with Leica's M to L adapter would a six-bit coded lens be recorded in the EXIF data?

The Panasonic LUMIX S1R II Mirrorless Camera with Basic Bundle will not read the EXIF Data using the Leica M-Adapter L (Black) BH #LEMATB with M mount lenses.

Does the higher pixel resolution of this camera give it a more capable hybrid zoom (longer reach) compared to the S1IIE?

The Panasonic LUMIX S1R II Mirrorless Camera with Basic Bundle is about double the resolution compared to the Panasonic LUMIX S1 IIE. You will be able to crop the image more without loss. And by doing that, it will appear to give more zoom.
