The Studio Concert D 1887 from Vienna Symphonic Library features over 204,000 samples of an extremely rare Steinway D piano from multiple mic positions. The piano that was sampled may be the only surviving example, with nearly all the original hardware and internals, providing you with a unique sound from a transitory period in Steinway's production. Recorded on VSL's Synchron stage B, using multiple microphone positions, enjoy the lyrical tone of this one-of-a-kind piano from 1887.
