I am using this for a keyboard expression pedal. The response is smooth without any noise. The minimum level set is really handy to give a solid endpoint to the quiet passages - no overshoot and having nothing coming out. I was a little concerned at the smaller size (I am used to a larger pedal) but did not have difficulty with control. It is a nice, compact little unit.
