The Intellijel Atlx 1U Atlantix Expander takes the already versatile Atlantix module and opens the door to deeper routing, richer timbres, and more advanced patching possibilities. Designed as a seamless extension, this optional 1U expander adds 16 additional jacks—providing a suite of dedicated oscillator waveforms, full filter outputs, and a built-in ring modulator with its own inputs and output.
With Atlx 1U, classic subtractive patches gain new dimension, FM and cross-mod techniques become more flexible, and self-patching workflows expand dramatically. Oscillator A and B waveforms are broken out—including a PWM square and sub-square for oscillator A—while low-pass, high-pass, bandpass, and phazor filter taps offer complete utilization of the Atlantix’s filter section. The integrated ring modulator adds even more sonic character, complete with X and Y inputs and a dedicated Ring output.
Installation is simple: the Atlx 1U connects directly to the Atlantix via the included 20-pin ribbon cable. As a passive expander, it requires no additional power and matches the full functionality of the 3U version.
